Broaden Your Horizons at Swegon Air Academy

One of the most exciting things about working at Swegon is being part of an international community. Swegon’s global reach has allowed us to connect with many innovative thinkers in such fields as energy, ventilation and indoor environments. Since the company’s inception, Swegon had envisioned a non-profit and non-commercial platform that would share knowledge on a wider scale. So in 2005, only a year after Swegon was formed, the company introduced Swegon Air Academy (SAA).

Since its introduction, Swegon Air Academy has achieved its aim through regular seminars hosted by leaders in many fields. The topics range from integrated design to the effects of solar radiation in architecture and mechanical systems. And don’t think this is an exclusive club focused on Euro-centric design. In a global economy where we face many of the same issues, the content presented on SAA addresses many global design considerations and issues. The seminars are delivered in an accessible manner (many of them are in English) for anyone with an interest in the topics. After all, the goal of Swegon Air Academy is to explain complex problems, simply.

While many of seminars take place at Swegon’s Swedish home base, you don’t have to buy a plane ticket to participate in Swegon Air Academy. The Swegon Air Academy website is full of invaluable information, and many of the past seminars are available to view online.

As someone who has watched a few of the seminar online, I can attest that there’s nothing else like it in the industry. Building a better future requires organizations to start bringing down their walls and opening up opportunities to share what they’ve learned with each other. From this joint effort, the knowledge gained can be disseminated to reach countless influential minds. With Swegon Air Academy, the indoor climate design community already has a solid platform to see this vision through.

Below are a few of our favorite SAA videos. We highly recommend that you check them out! To learn more about Swegon Air Academy, visit the website at www.swegonairacademy.com
