This course is intended to educate design engineers on the basics of active chilled beam system design including primary air system design. It shows how design conditions impact annual energy usage so the design engineer can appreciate the impact of design conditions. The course introduces Swegon climate beams including features and benefits. The course includes demand control ventilation design as means of improving energy efficient and comfort. It covers the Swegon Adapt Parasol and Parasol VAV climate beam offering.

 

Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems Design

Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems Design

Duration: Full Course – 2 Hours

Duration: Condensed – 1 Hour

This course is intended to educate design engineers on a range of design considerations for Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS) and their impact on the HVAC system performance. The course introduces the Swegon GOLD DOAS unit including size ranges configurations and controls. It is based on an ASHRAE Journal Article published in March 2016.

 

 

Comfort Training Center Tour

Comfort Training Center Tour

Duration:  1 Hour

The Comfort Training Center (CTC) offers the opportunity for the visitor to see all the Swegon beams installed and operating as well as GOLD RX unit as the primary DOAS unit. There are interactive controls and mechanical room as well. This is great way for visitors to start their visit to the CTC prior to training.
